Introducing BellePoints!

Along with a new site and a renewed focus on user participation, comes rewards for that participation!  AnimeBelle.com is now introducing BellePoints, a system of currency and bragging rights that rewards users for contributing to the community.  There's lots to learn, so read on!

What are BellePoints?  BellePoints are points awarded to users for participating in site activities such as polls, submitting articles and reviews, posting comments on articles and news posts, winning contests, and so on.

What can I do with BellePoints?  At the moment, I recommend hoarding and gloating.  In the near future, BellePoints can be spent on discounts for unique AnimeBelle merchandise, access to website features, and more.  Racking up points now can put you ahead of the pack when new features come out in the future!

How can I earn BellePoints?  There are lots of ways!  Automated methods will give you an immediate reward, while Manual methods may take up to 24 hours to go into effect.

Automatic Earning Methods

  • Posting a Comment on an article, review, news post, or blog post, for 1 BellePoint.
  • Posting an Article or Review (if you're a writer), for 100 BellePoints.
  • Logging in (once every 24 hours!), for 10 BellePoints.

Manual Earning Methods

  • Fill out the Community Research 2010 Poll for 500 BellePoints.
  • Submit your own artwork to the Art Gallery, for 50 BellePoints.
  • Submit your own fanart of Anna May Belle to the Art Gallery, for 200 BellePoints.
  • Win contests on the site or forums for varying amounts of BellePoints!
